Added the
ability to monitor-only data without opening a file.
Revised 2-
and 3-bar MAP sensor calibrations for the Syclone / Typhoon turbo
(DataMaster TT).
Enabled oil
temperature display for all 94-95 LT1 applications.
Fixed crash
on minimize of Dyno and Spark Retard form.
Increased
max file playback length to 32,000 records.
Version
3.3.0
Added the
ability to fine-tune the ALDL handshake timing in the Serial Data
Acquisition form. This adjustment is necessary when linking to
some early 1990's ECU's with certain laptop computers. This fixes
a problem whereby Test Com correctly reported a PCM was detected,
but DataMaster was unable to link and obtain Scan data.
Added a new
variable for displaying Computed Injector Duty Cycle percent on
the main form. This is derived from the engine RPM and the Injector
BPW, and is a useful indicator to identify if you are running
out of fuel flow capacity.
A new form
for monitoring Spark Retard was added. This flags any spark retard
on a large progress bar and by turning the form Red, getting progressively
brighter as more retard is present.
Updated on-line
help and the manual to include all new features.
Version
3.2.5
The DataMaster
"DYNO" feature was added. This uses PCM data recorded
during an acceleration run to calculate and plot engine horsepower
and torque. Caveat: Accuracy is very dependent on driving technique
and consistency! Several selectable filter tools help "smooth"
the data, and the data can be exported in CSV format. The graphs
can be printed or saved to a JPEG file for easy viewing later.
A new quarter-mile
calculator has been added that simplifies determination of typical
1/4 mile information. This includes time and speed for 60 feet,
1/8, 1/4 mile, and 0 to 60 MPH! An AutoFind button was added to
help locate the beginning of an acceleration run. This calculator
uses interpolation of the time data to give more accurate results.
Keyboard
control of ALDL Data Acquisition: This feature fully automates
the data collection process and eliminates the need to use a mouse
when recording data. When enabled in the Serial Data Acquisition
form (under Options..AutoLogging Activated), pressing the SPACE
bar will immediately start datalogging. To stop logging, simply
press the ESC key. To turn Recording off, press the "P"
(pause) key. When paused, the data display will continue, but
data will not be saved. To resume recording, press the SPACE bar
again. To exit back to playback, press the "Q" (Quit)
key.
The serial
Data Acquisition mode can be entered from the main screen by
pressing the ALT-F R key combination. Once enabled, AutoLog
mode remains active for all future DataMaster sessions until
the user turns it off.
When in
AutoLog mode, a sequentially numbered file is automatically
created and saved in the AUTOLOG directory. There is no need
to type in any file names. Each AUTOLOG session will create
a new file and not overwrite old data until you get to 999 files.
Trial Licensing
has been extended to 20 free recording runs. If you have a previous
version of DataMaster that has expired, contact TTS for a new
trial code allowing you 20 free runs with this new version
Diacom file
playback added to all DataMaster versions. We don't have access
many old Diacom files, so this is not fully tested. Contact TTS
if you run into difficulties using this feature
